Gotsa Oligova at Freedom Inside ’26: Cities that respond, not interrupt

CITIX CEO Gotsa Oligova participated in Freedom Inside ’26, an international forum on digital ecosystems, joining a panel discussion on the future of smart cities.

The discussion focused on how cities are evolving into systems that respond to real-world context — including traffic, weather, and local events.

CITIX presented its approach to building technology that adapts to changing urban conditions, working seamlessly within the city without adding unnecessary complexity.

“Smart cities are becoming invisible. They reduce the need for constant decision-making — not to replace people, but to help them move through the city more naturally.”

The session also explored how digital technologies are becoming part of the physical environment, delivering relevant information in real time.

Today, the CITIX network includes more than 200 smartboards across Almaty, Astana, and other regions, forming a growing layer of digital infrastructure embedded into the urban environment.
